Bench plaques

316 Marine grade stainless steel offers some advantages over bronze in that greater detail can be achieved in the design, they are less likely to go ‘missing’ and are also a little more budget friendly. Though 316 stainless steel is very durable and made to endure harsh climates and coastal conditions, a bronze plaque is hard to compete with when it comes to longevity.

The high polished finish is very reflective – much like a mirror, sadly it is also easily scratched. We’d generally recommend the brushed finish as it is easier to read in full sunlight and easier to maintain.

stainless steel signage and utility plaques

Signage & utility

While the stainless steel memorial plaques are generally 2mm thick, signage and utility style plaques are often 1.2mm thick. They are just as durable and suitable for indoors or out, they’re also easily attached to almost any flat surface with a high grade silicon based or other suitable adhesive.

Like all our stainless steel plaques, screw holes and/or rounded corners are an option for no extra cost.

Various uses

Because the yag laser can etch stainless steel at 200DPI resolution, there are many practical and aesthetic uses for the finished plaques it can produce. From beautiful address plaques to personalised artworks, we can also produce sequentially numbered tags and more.
