The durability of bronze means it will endure whatever the elements can throw at it and come out shining. Whether it be a ‘stand alone’, recessed into a larger headstone or mounted on a ‘sloper’ (pedestal or desk), it will always be the focal point of any memorial. Bronze memorial plaques also stand out well on cremation or columbarium walls indoors or outside.
There are many cemeteries within Australia which accept bronze plaques in various forms; cremation plaques, columarium plaques and granite mounted plaques. If you’re unsure about cemetery specifications, either ask the cemetery or council associated with it, or ask us to enquire on your behalf.
Bronze Plaques Oz offers a variety of vases for placement onto or next to columbarium wall plaques. These are small vases and only accommodate buds or small flowers; fresh dried or faux.

4-Strap Vase 5-Flush Vase 6-Stonecraft Vase

Cremation plaques are traditionally rectangular however shapes like hearts and ovals are becoming increasingly popular – providing the cremation or columbarium wall they’re intended for accepts them.
Bronze image plaques require a photo with neutral lighting; much like a passport photo. Higer resolution photos (300 DPI) are also beneficial. If a submitted photo isn’t suitable we can try to enhance it but we can’t make any promises. Image plaques can range from 150 x 100mm to 865 x 356mm. We have 3 different background options for bronze image plaques; Beach, Leather and Country. Motifs/emblems can also be added to the design.
Above are some examples of granite which can be used as a base for your plaque. From left to right: Grey, Red, Black and Blue Pearl.

Bronze Plaques Oz can also help with more lavish bronze/granite combination headstones. Cemetery requirements must be met in every case – we’re happy to enquire on your behalf.
A flowerpot or two may also be added on the top ledge depending on the size. Double plots can also be catered to with larger slopers, a space can be left for a plaque to be added at a later date.
